Bringing back the ‘wild’ side of Monmouthshire.

Embarking on a journey into the world of nature restoration.

Documenting and sharing every step of our journey towards creating a ‘Wilder Wales’ with our own 80 acres. Hoping to educate and inspire others though our story.

On the 16th of March this year we held our first Community Day.

This was probably one of the most wholesome days of our lives. 30 volunteers, diverse in experience, age and background but unified in their drive and determination to have a positive impact. Click on the link below to read our reflections and view some pictures / interviews from the day.

With endless enthusiasm and a lifetime of learning ahead of us.

As a family, we took the bold decision to purchase a farm in Wales with a vague idea of ‘rewilding’ and a strong commitment to nature. With no background in ecology or environmental service, we’re loving our learning journey (and we hope you will too)!

Join us on the Wilder Podcast!

In the Wilder Podcast we cover a range of topics including rewilding, sustainable living and climate change, whilst documenting our attempts to apply these principles on our 80 acres in rural Monmouthshire.

Every episode includes an update from the project, as well as conversation with experts on how we can better understand, protect, and restore the natural world. We talk to individuals involved in nature restoration projects across the UK and debate topics including the role of the individual and government in system change, our connectivity with nature and how to make ‘rewilding’ financially viable .

“The greatest threat to our planet is believing someone else will change it.”
